Il programma di cooperazione Interreg V-A Italia-Austria fa parte dei programmi di finanziamento nell'ambito dell'Obiettivo Cooperazione Territoriale Europea per il periodo 2014-2020. Promuove uno sviluppo equilibrato e sostenibile e un'integrazione armoniosa nell'area di confine tra Italia e Austria ed è finanziato dal Fondo Europeo di Sviluppo Regionale (FESR) e da contributi pubblici nazionali per un totale di circa 98 milioni di euro.
Questo programma di cooperazione ha approvato il progetto transfrontaliero "GeoTrAC". Per questo progetto verranno investiti 1.061.300 euro e 400.000 euro per la parte austriaca.
Il geoparco transfrontaliero si sta sviluppando lungo le Alpi Carniche. Negli ultimi tre anni, nell'ambito di GeoTrAC.
- a Dellach è stata allestita la mostra "I dinosauri primordiali della Gailtal
- sono stati creati quattro nuovi geotrail (Nassfeld, Findenig-Lanzenpass, Wolayer See e Kötschach-Mauthen)
- pubblicazioni multilingue
- è stato creato un sistema di geoinformazione

The Interreg V-A Italy-Austria cooperation programme is part of the of the funding programmes under the European Territorial Cooperation for the period 2014-2020. It promotes the balanced, sustainable development and harmonious integration in the between Italy and Austria and is financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and national public contributions totalling around €98 million.
This cooperation programme approved the cross-border project "GeoTrAC". Within the framework of this project, a total of EUR 1,061,300, 400,000 EUR on the Austrian side.
The cross-border geopark is developing along the Carnic Alps. In the last three years, as part of GeoTrAC.
- an exhibition "The primordial dinosaurs of the Gailtal" has been set up in Dellach
- four new geotrails have been created (Nassfeld, Findenig-Lanzenpass, Wolayer See and Kötschach-Mauthen
- multilingual publications
- a geo-information system was set up
